IIJ Global Launches “AI Security Consulting” Helping Enterprises Achieve a Safe Environment for AI Use

TOKYO—March 11, 2026—IIJ Global Solutions Inc. (IIJ Global)—provider of global network and security solutions including SASE for enterprises and wholly owned subsidiary of Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (TSE Prime: 3774)—today announced the immediate availability of “AI Security Consulting,” a new consulting service aimed at mitigating various risks from corporate AI use. The service is offered in response to the growing sophistication of cyberattacks making use of AI.
This service offers comprehensive support, applicable to all phases of enterprise AI utilization, from pre-adoption assessments to operational risk management. Its coverage extends to vulnerability diagnosis, real-time protection, creation of a governance framework, and human resources development, mitigating such risks involved in AI use as fraudulent usage, information leaks, and privilege escalation, to realize a safe and sustainable corporate AI use environment.

Background

Starting with generative AI, the adoption of AI has spread rapidly, while its application areas continue to expand, from making operations more efficient to developing new services. Along with this growth come concerns, among them vulnerabilities lurking in AI tools, the lack of expert personnel, and the growing sophistication of attacks using AI. Enterprises are faced with the urgent need to provide environments ensuring safe AI use. In response to this situation, IIJ Global has launched this new service supporting the provisioning of environments for ongoing use of AI in peace of mind.

Service Overview

“AI Security Consulting” is a comprehensive consulting service offering total support from visualizing the risks in AI use to formulating AI security policies, implementing countermeasures, and improving operation. Based on the know-how built up in the security field, including through SASE provision, IIJ Global, using its own proprietary investigation tools and framework, visualizes the risks involved in AI use and presents an optimal roadmap tailored to the specifics of the client’s operations. Even after deployment, IIJ Global supports organizational governance and user education, resulting in a state in which the AI use environment can be maintained continuously throughout the organization. The available services are as outlined below.

  1. Support for AI security measures
Employing frameworks and assessment tools that make use of NIST, Cyber AI Profile and the like, the current situation is surveyed and analyzed. On this basis, support is provided for creation of a governance framework and introduction of Security for AI (User/Agent/Engine).
  2. AI security vulnerability diagnosis
Prompt injections, privilege chaining, data leaks and other risks are assessed, and vulnerability diagnosis is carried out.
  3. AI security education
Training for management and users, promotion of risk understanding and other kinds of security education are provided.
  4. AI security operation improvement
Through ongoing monitoring of operations, AI governance becomes established.
